چکیده

Basalt fiber and cement-based materials have been widely applied in engineering structures. In this context, the durability of basalt-fiber-reinforced ordinary silicate mortar was systematically studied under exposure to unilateral salt freezing. The mechanical durability, chloride ion diffusion characteristics, microscopic pore characteristics cement with basalt content levels range 0 kg/m 3 –1.5 were tested 0–40 freeze–thaw cycles. relationships changes internal structure mass loss, damage, physical properties material also analyzed freezing results demonstrated that even a small amount could significantly improve its resistance erosion. particular, 1.2 exhibited good compressive flexural strength, while specimens no fibers relatively large degree porosity Our work provides concrete evidence for freezing, these showing an exponential relationship loss strong linear correlation coefficient material.

Wet/Dry Cycling Durability of Cement Mortar Composites Reinforced with Micro- and Nanoscale Cellulose Pulps

A combination of reinforcements at different levels can have a synergetic effect on the final properties of a composite. The aim of this work was to produce, evaluate, and compare the wet/dry cycling durability of the exposure of cement composites reinforced with conventional pulps at the micro-scale level, with nanofibrillated cellulose fibers at the nano-scale level, and with combinations of ...

Accelerated Heat Aging Study of Phenolic/Basalt Fiber Reinforced Composites

One of the greatest impediments to use polymer-matrix composites is their susceptibility to degradation when exposed to the elevated temperatures and the limited knowledge on the thermal and mechanical properties of these composites at such temperatures. The objective of this study is to evaluate the effects of accelerated heat aging on the tensile properties of the Woven Basalt/Phenolic (WBP) ...

Creep Behavior of Basalt and Glass Fiber Reinforced Epoxy Composites

The creep behavior of basalt fiber reinforced epoxy (BFRE) and glass fiber reinforced epoxy (GFRE) composites was studied through tensile testing at high temperature. To study the effect of reinforcing epoxy, the micro glass powder (MGP) was added at various volume percentage into the epoxy resin in BFRE composites. The initial strain for all the specimens were evaluated and compared with each ...

Application of antifungal CFB to increase the durability of cement mortar.

Antifungal cement mortar or microbiological calcium carbonate precipitation on cement surface has been investigated as functional concrete research. However, these research concepts have never been fused with each other. In this study, we introduced the antifungal calciteforming bacteria (CFB) Bacillus aryabhattai KNUC205, isolated from an urban tunnel (Daegu, South Korea). The major fungal det...
